tho doc did leave me on Ultram I dont consider it up there with the oxy I had been on for years. Actually all I feel not so bad. Before I did the stint in rehab (almost a month after I popped my last MS Contin) Ultram wouldnt have touched my pain but now that everything else is out of my system the ultram is cutting it rather nicely. Now I don't pressume to know much about this disease or about the brain tumor that resides in my head nor do I want to come off like a condescending pompous ass but I honestly didnt believe this would work and am quite shocked that it did. Yes its scary coming off the meds we have come to rely on but for those that sometimes think they would like to try it I say go for it.

it was ruff but i detoxed slowly from everything was on 14 different pills=back in jan except for ambian & 1 vicodinES aday!(i toke 1/2 every 4-6hrs (fentynal25mg patch on bad flare ups)
i have noticed that everything works better now i also started taking valerian root & melationa w /ambian= they help me sleep thru out night! i'm back on the patch(25mg every 72hrs) & ambian & suplliments vicodin as back up as needed! It was ruff & i agree if anyone is not getting releif it would be wie to try & detox & start over! some of the side effects is worse then our"FIBRO"

i'm so happy for you!! this is definitely something to be proud of and pat yourself on the back for me!! i really am impressed and a little in awe of you! i don't know what more to say other than it truly takes a remarkable person to do what you have done especially considering all that you've been thru and still have to deal with.
