ah sory hon. My back is totally on fire this morning

When I try to describe that burning in my muscles I tell people to remember back to when they had a hard workout or other type of exercise and they were "feeling the burn". When my FMS acts up, that's exactly what it feels like. Like you, I have tried so many different things for it and most don't work. Pain meds don't work. Muscle relaxers don't work. The only thing that relieves it a LITTLE is a heating pad, but that only lasts for a few minutes once the pad is removed. I usually get this burning in my arms, neck and upper back. I deal with it daily. The severity depends on what I am doing. If it gets bad enough only time stops that pain.

Yes mine is the same, how ever I have been lucky and I control the pain for the most part now. i still have very intense pain, at night, or weather changes really effect how i will feel. I think I have just learned coping skills.

Yep, it happens to me sometimes...today its my left shoulder. I use heat and my TENS unit, and that seems to help.

I'm cringing as I read this.....I so feel the same way!

I have to take luke warm showers when I'm like this. As I can not tolerate any other "warmth".

I know some try the lidocane products or things like Tiger Balm or BenGay.....but I don't know if this actually goes deep down into the muscles.

I have the same pain all over ,,nothing help any more,, i try to push my self and do some house work but i pay for it the next two days ,,

I so wish they could make a Magic Pill to take these Pains away...One with No Side Effects, just Healing Properties...when my Muscles light Up, I apply Cool cloths to the area...if they Just Ache, I apply Heated clothes to the worst area...I wish I could Help you mope then that...will Say a Prayer and send it to you Via the Wind...
