i have one near my genital area tho..it started small & got a lil bigger...now it's just irritating! I wanna just twist it off & snip it...not a good idea for that area down there though.

I kno 4 a fact it's a skin tag coz my dr examined me & confirmed it was, said he's charge like 100 sumthin' bucks to get it off.
soo, I'm gonna try a home remedy first. if that dont help, I'll be on the table next week! :(

I read somewhere that castor oil & baking soda dries them up.
So I been doin' that the past few days...they say it takes up to two weeks & less painful than scissors or clippers (ouch)

I had skin tags around my neck where my hair and necklace got tangled in them. My husband had a couple of these under his armpits and the doctor cut them off. So....I sterilized small scissors, got one of those sticks that stop bleeding (men use these when they cut themselves shaving) and cut the suckers off! Oh, I also put some oh gosh that numbing stuff on before I cut them off. No more problems and they haven't grown back!

I have heard that Vicks vapor rub will dry them up. I have tried it on one that was the bigger, flatter kind and it did work, after 2 weeks of application it just peeled off and has not returned. And I smelled great... not.

I have them on my neck and eye lids. I snip them off with scissors.

For anyone wanting to try something off the wall...my husband is loaded with skin tags, read an article and tried it...it worked. Put a drop of super glue on the skin tag for a week, it falls off.

i have them too. They are very common so wouldn't say they where fibro related hugs

I had some on my neck and arm pit. I just cut them off. I've also heard you can tie a thread around them, cuts off the blood supply and it will fall off. I've also heard of an herb called blood root that will get rid of them, but you have to be careful not to get that on "good" skin. It really doesn't hurt to cut them off, if you compare it to fibro pain it's a piece of cake!

I too have them, and hate them with a passion. I have a couple around the base of my neck, so I can't ware a neckless any more.

You can easily have your doctor remove them if they are bothering you. And, they are a symptom of Fibro. Just google it.

Skin tags are also a sign of type 2 diabetes. Not everyone that has skin tags has diabetes but those with diabetes have skin tags. It's always a good idea have your blood glucose levels checked.
