when it rains it pours... i just have to vent about all this...

some of you know about the problem i'm having with my ex property manager who's giving me gray hairs about the last months rent and deposit (she thinks she can just keep whatever she wants)... which today i will be signing the beginning of the legal paper work to push all this to court. hopefully it will just scare her enough to give me back my money, but in case not, i'm gearing up to settle it in court.

and as some of you know i just bought a house and got moved in over the last several weeks... oh gosh... the stress with the mortgage paper work and the realty paper work!!!!! and i still have some boxes to unpack but my mind is too cluttered to get back to it...

but on top of that... we had a problem with the mail box key to our new house. turns out the previous owners gave us a key that doesn't fit. so i go to the post office and let them know and they said to go back to the realtors and have the previous owners fix it cuz they are responsible for that. i spoke to the realtors and they tell me that they will get in contact with them and then call me back when they get word back. so a week goes by as my mail is piling up in the box... and finally they call back and say that they can't locate the right key and that i will have to go back to the post office and have THEM replace it. then they will reimburse me. so i go back to the post office only to be told that they don't do it and then send me to another post office.

on top of that... yesterday i went to my new bank that i have my new mortgage with to set up payments... only to find out that the bank had handed off my loan to another bank. which wouldn't be so bad if THE BANK WASN'T ALL THE WAY IN NEW JERSEY!! 1st of all... i didn't even know a bank could do such a thing! and 2nd of all... I'M IN HAWAII!!! WHY WOULD MY BANK BE HALF AROUND THE FREAKIN PLANET IN NEW JERSEY??!!! WTF! somebody PLEASE explain this to me!!!!

why do things have to be so damn complicated?? it's no wonder i get hemorrhoids!!

at least the mail man finally came today and switched out the lock. so i finally get the HUGE stack of mail that would have notified me of the loan hand off. well it's a bit late now, don't cha think?? sheesh!

so what does everyone do when they are stressed out? how do you avoid a fibro flare? i get terrible head aches almost daily and yesterday wasn't a good day either. plus my stomch was sick and in knots all day! that burger king i ate yesterday wasn't the wisest thing for me to do. lol.

" Oh Honey..you have stress up the wazzoo! LOL!

Yes, banks do that all the damned time, sell off your loan to a mortgage company in the weirdest places from where you live, its exasperating!

I would definetely be taking that property manager to court! Landlords sometimes think thats just what they are..lords! They take your deposit thinking you will do damage, spend the money and not give it back, JERKS!
Can you tell I have been down this road before, LOL?

The only thing I can do when I get that stressed out is take a down day, and do nothing but rest, take my meds, use the heating pad and sleep.

I hope you feel better soon!

Love and Hugs,
Laurie "

" I clean house when Im stressed , take a walk outside, do something fun. Shopping if Im not on the pot! By the way if you have a Goodwill in Hawaii, you can pick up a lot of stuff cheap for your new house. And gardens also. ( Or a thrift shop) "

" Sorry Sweetie! You're right, when it rains it pours!

For me, I don't 'de-stress'...I blow up. I take it all on until it hits the fan. Then I'm fine.

Quick little rant.....a little bite of chocolate...and voila.....I'm back to normal.

Throw something....maybe even at the mail man....and if he looks back, just say you slipped. Or order a pizza and go crazy on the driver. Wait....store it all up, wait for the first telemarketing caller and go apenuts on them! They can't hang up on you =) "

" thanks for everyone's input! i will try these suggestions (except for cleaning the house lol) and see if i feel any better. but i really think the cure to all this would be just getting my money back and the loan being returned to the local bank (yeah i wish!)... well if anything, at the minimum getting my money back. we found out last nite that the land lord is repainting the whole house and redoing the interior, and she thinks that i'm paying for it. found out that she wants to sell the house and so she is remodeling it to look presentable for the market. AND SHE SOME HOW THINKS I SHOULD PAY FOR IT. i'm no genius, but any sane person knows that what she's doing is totally unlawful and completely crazy! i think she has lost her damn marbles!

sorry for further venting. it's just that every day that goes by the situation seems to grow and grow, crazier and crazier. it went from holding me responsible for a few damages to remodeling the whole fuckin house (excuse my french). never ever in my life have i come across a situation like this, of ALL the MANY places i have rented in the past. this is by far one of the nuttiest rental deposit situation i've ever encountered. some times i feel sorry for land lords like her. cuz her judgment day will come.
