" I don't but I've heard great things about them. I think they work best for myofascial pain (trigger points) but I have that along with fibro. I think sometimes my muscle pain is more from the trigger points, as my pain meds control the deep aching pain that I recognize as fibro pain.

It would be great to have something to apply to right where it hurts. "

" I have used them and for me they don't work very well. I wish I could at least get them to work on my neck, but I have tried numerous times with them and a big fat nothing :(

Good luck,

Bobbi "

" I love them but they are very expensive so I use them sparingly. I pay about $80 out of pocket after my insurance pays.

They are subtle. But after I have one on for a couple of hours on a particularly troublesome spot I do notice a big difference. Like all of the sudden I notice I can bend my elbow when earlier it was too painful.

I also like the cool, comfortable feel of them. They move with your skin and don't tear at it when you take them off like many of those uncomfortable heat patches.

I do have to put something over them or they will come off. Like if I put them on the bottom of my feet, I cover them with socks. And if I put one on an elbow, I cover with a shirt or sweater.

You can wear them 10 hours on and then 10 hours off. But I have been known to keep them on for a couple days if I'm home and don't have to take a shower. "

" i use them also..but the insurance does not like to pay for them they try to give you the cream first=which is only3% my doc give me sample packs & i still rub the cream on also then use a ace bandage to keep them in place..very stickyw/adhesive, seem to slide around. they do hold the pain at bay but not take it away! " Yes, I've used them for years and luckily my Ins. pays for most of it. The best area for me is my back, both muscle trigger points, and lower spine where I have DDD. I saw on another post to use alcohol on the area first to get them to stick better.

" They do help take the edge off of localized pain. But they are expensive and they don't stick very well. I think they are worth a try. "

" i have some.i haven't really found them to work except in this instance; when the muscles here or there start to stay cramped from the pain, a lidoderm patch can help the seized muscle sometimes but as for the real pain i have found them to be ineffectual.you know that headache thatsits where you'r headbone joins you'r kneck? i get some relief on that one sometimes. " I use them. My Dr. told me to cut them to the size I need. I take one, cut it into 3 pieces and can cover 3 different areaa. I can leave it on for 12 hours then 12 hours off. My insurance pays the bulk of it. I do find though that the next time I use it in the same area it is not as effective. It's worth trying. Anything to stop the pain is worth it to me :) "
