Sorry Darling, I don't and can't even tell you anything good that I have heard about it. All I know is that it is addictive, which doesn't help you at all.

I was taking it and it did help with the pain but put me in such a brain haze that I couldn't function.

I took it for break thru pain for along time But I find that Viacodin works better for me..Gentle hugs Sweetie!!!!!!!!

My doctor has warned me against going any stronger than what I am currently taking, even though there are times that it doesn't work so good. The problem, as I'm sure you are aware, is addidiction. I'm very afraid of that!

I took oxycontin as perscribed by my doc and became addicted. I'm not entirely sure that I was only addicted to the oxycontin but also to trying to obtain a pain-free existence. I think chasing the dream of a typical life was the worst part of the addiction to the drug. I now take nothing. Please, just be very careful.

I have a stupid question about this--is oxycontin the same as Oxycodone? Someone told me that and whenever i enter it into the computer the names are always together?
So if this helps i take the oxycodone, unless they are the same thing i heard that the oxycontin is very addictive, but so isn't the codone. I wish i could be more of a help to you. Good Luck in finding your answers. :)

my mom took it and it helped for a while but she had a really high tolerance. My hubby is on it now and it helps him. No side effcts for him. I CANT TAKE IT AT ALL! I get sicker than a dog! Just be careful and dont break it in half the way many people do (hubby does) it can kill you they say since its time released. And it is very addictive for most people. But most likely you'll be on some kind of pain med forever so Im not sure how that matters...GOOD LUCK! TOOTLES!
