You bet. The minute it hits my stomach I have terrible nausea. I can't even take it when it's cut in halves and fourths.

I love this painkiller. It helps in higher doses and makes me feel like i'm floating in the clouds. Great at helping me sleep to but i do make sure that i take it after i have eaten

I've been told by a LPC that it can make anxiety worse. That is can cause disorientation, panic, heart palpitations, etc.
I have Ultram and it seemed to help me too but now I'm afraid to take it. In fact, I flat out refuse to take it b/c it made my anxiety so much worse. Will have to find something else for me.

Yes, I had to take it 3 times a day and it knocked me out. Finally, my doctor switched meds but only after 6 months of doing nothing but sleeping.

You guys have NO IDEA how lucky you are to be able to take something that is actually NOT EVEN NARCOTIC and it works like a narcotic med for you. I have a very HIGH pain medication tolerance, so I have to be on major meds to get any relief at all! I wish I could just pop an Ultram and be happy. **sigh**

But, at least it works for some. Problem is, docs don't understand why it works for most of ya'll and peeps like me, NADA! Then I get the third degree and they think I'm a junkie. Not that, just doesn't work for me. But at least when you guys DO find something that works, you won't need to take much of it. That's a blessing for you!

I have never gotten nausia from Tramadol? It doesn't take all the pain away but it sure takes the edge off it. If I forget a dose I can feel it.

Are you sure it is Ultram that is making you sick? It is usually the opiods that do that and some vitamins and Advil for me.

I also have never felt anxious on it and I have PTSD and an anxiety disorder.

The only side effect I have is I can't take it at night or it keeps me awake.

The only thing about Tramadol is I get the sweats from it, but I've been taking it for 3 years now, 3 times a day, and it works quite well. No other side effects really.

I have been taking tramadol 100mg for about 8 weeks now. I havent had bad side effects, but I only take it at night anyway, Itake ibuprofen or codydramol during the day.. The tramadol does take the edge off the pain. I know it if I havent taken my nightly dose

this really effected me in a bad way. it would slow down my breathing, and my heart rate which got quite scary. it never made me sleep. it did not relieve any pain, and in fact made the pain worse. also got terrrible sore throats whilst taking this. my experience with tramadol was horrible.
