Fibromyalgia Support Group

I take Celebrex for low back pain and it works great. I only take it as needed because I get samples. I don't take it long so I don't know if it helps with fibro.

I have taken Celebrex and it was absolutely wonderful for pain relief...the only problem for me is that I ended up having an allergic reaction. I wish I could take it because it has been the only thing that truly helped.

thanks ill giveit more time then... oh the only thing is i get migrains and i alsways take ibuprofen or advil and because celebrex is an anti inflamatory aswell u cant take both together

ive been on celebrex for about four months . and it does help. i have had three lower back surgeries . and about 18 months ago upper back and neck same time . it took over 10hrs . i almost didnt make .i cheated death three times in a little over a year so guess im still suppost to be here.

I take mobic which is really the same as celebrex, and have been doing so for months. it does help me. I have back issues as well.

I take celebrex daily for fibro and arthritis and find that it definately helps my pain level

I tried celebrex as well and it did seem to help but I had a reaction to that and about 5 other anti-inflamatory medications so I can't take any of them. I also have back problems, allot of back pain (read my profile too much to type, lol) I think my back pain/problems is probably what triggered my fibro to begin with, just something I have to deal with one day at a time.

Celebrex helped me too. I was able to take Tramadol with it for back pain. It helped a lot too.Hugs and more hugs, Donna

I took it and loved it. It was a little pricey, even through insurance, but it worked great for me.

My doctor took me off of it because he suspected GI issues with Celebrex and other NSAIDs I was taking.

I'm about to ask for it back because nothing else quite does it for me.

It helped me too. Until it started messing with my stomach big time! I wish I could take it again. Its good stuff.
