" Hi Marci,
I feel the same way. I've had a rough time this fall as well. I'm currently having a fibro flare-up and not sure why.
I have been more stiff and achy since fall. "

" Oh I forgot! lol!
What makes me feel better lately is I have been taking short warm baths like when I get home from work or just anytime I feel more achy.
That seems to help me relax and take some of the stiffness away. "

" Welcome Marci...I was diagnosed in 8/2007 after about 9 months of overall pain and fatigue.

And yes to your question, I felt great this summer but the last couple of months have been rough.

Hugs and Prayers we all feel better soon! "

" I actually felt better after hearing from my doctor that all of his fibro patients appear to have bad periods whenever the weather changes. At least it isnt just you!

So when it happens I know its going to be an off period. Knowing that makes it easier to plan. Thats the big thing with fibro for me, you never know what is going to hurt when..or for how long..but if you know this is a possible occurance it sure helps make it more endurable. "

" we're like barometors. we know when the weather is changing. when it will rain. the pain just gnaws at us like a dog with a bone. i need distraction. a good movie, some oxycontin, and a warm electric blanket. now i bought some herb filled thing i put in the microwave for 2 minutes and drape over my shoulders and neck. really helps. heavy, though. cheap at footsmart. see if you can get a massage. my kids bought me some. loving it. " Marci,

Hi, I think most of us are probably pretty miserable about now. I believe it comes with the changing of the seasons/temps. like Abotsd said we are just walking barometers!! I haven't really latched on to my miracle formula for pain relief yet, I take Vicodin and Zanaflex. When pain seems to get really bad in my lower back I use a Flector Patch and that really does help.

I hope you feel better, take care. "
