I was wondering if you all could describe what your symptoms are. When I look up the symptoms online I match them, but I wanted to see exactly what you guys feel. Thx.

You should tell your Dr. what you are feeling. Fibro symptoms varry from person to person and to different degrees.
My first symtom (that I recall) is no one could touch my shoulders without causing me horrible pain.

My symptoms were pain...just all over body pain. It was so hard to describe to my doctor too. No matter where I touched, I hurt. And I had horrible fatigue - exhaustion to the point where I had to shave my head because I couldnt lift my arms to wash and dry my hair.
I kept a list of symptoms and degrees of severity and frequency and showed it to my doc. It helped him a lot. Definitely talk to your doc about the symptoms you're experiencing.

for me, the pain started in the back, neck, headaches and it was all very mild at first. Then through the years it has intensified and new pains have came about. Now the pain is pretty much all over my body, hands, feet, legs, shoulders, back, neck... also the pain differs, some is a burning sensation, others shooting pain, alot of it is a general soreness. I am also tired alot.
After all kinds of testings, the doctors just gave up on me and I had lost hope of ever being diagnosed, then I kind of had a feeling that it was Firbro, so I brought it up to the doc and have been diagnosed with it from 2 doctors. I know that it is a frustrating experience but you have to stand strong. sending hugs and prayers

It's hard for me to remember all of the early symptoms since it was back in the mid 90's but... One of the first symptoms I noticed was feeling like my legs were encased in cement and my neck, shoulders and upper chest were extremely painful. Even the shower spray hurt. Also, I couldn't sleep through the night. As time went on I started having pain in my entire back, around my elbows, hands, both hips, outer thighs, inner knees, shins, ankles. Almost as if the pain started at my neck and descended. And horrible fatigue. By the late 90's I was having severe body wide pain with constant nausea that was worse in the morning when I tried to get up and go to work after 2 or 3 hours of poor quality sleep. The fatigue, pain and brain fog became overwhelming.
I could practically write a book the list is so long and I'm sure that's true of most of us! It might help if you were to post a list of your symptoms and see how many people here report having the same thing.
