DONT GIVE UP!!! I hired a lawyer and went to my hearing with the judge. It took 2 years but I was approved for both ssi and ssd. I know its hard hun but if you go back to work it is what they want you to do. They deny everyone if you fight with a lawyer and appeal you will win. You have endo too dont you? I was approved for endo, fibro, ic, inflammatory arthritis, depression, panic, myofascial pain gerd, duodenum ulcer, and several others. Keep fighting. Talk to your drs make sure they document your pain and the issues you have with daily functions.

I would encourage you to talk to a disability attorney to help you through this process. I would do this as soon as possible. Make sure the attorney does not charge unless they win your case. It seems like a large majority of people are denied until they reach the ALJ hearing and have attorney to represent them. I applied in May of 2006 and rec'd a favorable decision in Jan of 2009 .. rec'd my decision in writing within two weeks. I got a attorney to handle my case after the first denial to handle the appeal. Mentally and emotionally could not handle it myself. I qualified for both SSI and RSDI. I rec'd first check first of March from SSI back pay. Then rec'd nothing till last Wednesday rec'd another check still not sure if is a part of SSI or RSDI seems like the back pay for me has been as much of a nightmare as the wait to get my decision. Waiting for the attorney's office to call me back to hopefully explain this part... It is a hassle and sometimes very frustrating but I would not give up.
Wishing you a smooth ride through the system and that will not be as complicated as my case has been. Take care gentle hugs

Never give up, get a good attorney if you don't have one and keep fighting. I would also see a Psycho Therapist and have them do testing on your congnitative issues. I have awful memory and am easily confused which helped my case tremendously. See out a therapist who understands the illness and keep fighting, I got approved on my second try and never went to court.

I still havent been approved either. I have cronic asthma, emphasima, tendonist-carpoltunnel in left wrist ( dominate hand ) , RLS,FM,arthritis, stage below Ostio, and a stroke in june of 09, and doctors called it a massive stroke. Either way, its been pending in court for 2 years, and been denied 4 times. And all I had at the time I applyed was asthma and emphasima, carpoltunnel...The attorney about fell over then. * Keeping fingers crossed, its been 18 months come this Nov i've been waiting for a court date *

I was denied at first as well. But I got a great lawyer because honestly I was so overwhelmed I couldnt even think straight. You can win this! There are a lot of disability lawyers out there who will take 1/3 of the monies you win in replacement of normal fees. They are usually the experts you need. Not just any lawyer will do. It has to be someone who deals in disability issues and the SS system.
Best of luck and dont check out! Fight.
