" I lost my virginity 2 years ago with my current bf. During that time, I realized I started to have painful urination. The doctor told me it was the honeymoon syndrome aka bladder infection. Gave me some pills to take for three days and sent me on my way. However, she did encourage to use the restroom post intercourse to avoid having a bladder infection. I had addressed that it took me some grace time toget the task done, she reassured me that it is normal to stall when trying to "go"after intercourse. I would say that as long as your are not experiancign discomfort then your noramla and ok! Maybe your body needs to shift gears per se. Hope it helps. "

" Iknow that for guys, it hurts really bad to pee right after sex, or with a boner. I also know that urinating right after sex is recommended for women to prevent UTIs. I've never had a problem with "reluctance" or pain...maybe ask your ob/gyn? "

" this always happens to me. It takes forever to pee. in fact my hubby has the same issue. It take him forever to pee after he climaxes. It must be the same muscles used to control everything. Maybe they're exhausted, lol. "

" I think it's normal. I often wait 10-20 minutes after an orgasm before trying to urinate. Also I always make sure I do afterwards because it helps keep the urinary tract clean so you can avoid bladder infections. "

" My problem was I always had to pee during sex. Often I would have stop in the middle of things and use the bathroom SO I wouldn't end up peeing on him or myself. It was so freaking annoying because I had to go at least 2,3 times. "
