well i dont like tampons, ive worn them a few months ago just to try it, becuze i was scared to use them, to me they hurt.and leak to easily. my advice wear pads they have a new one out called infinity by always.

I think all us females have that problem. There really isn't anyway to provent it. Sometimes I'll try plaster the string towards the back of me to hold it up and away from the urin flow. But there really isn't a sure fire way to stop that. It's kind of just one of the gross women things that we have to deal with. But I wouldn't go and change the tampon eveyrtime. Maybe take some TP and dry the string off. But I would leave it in. But yes I ususly do not use tampons a lot either. I like pads much better. Good luck! :)

if u insist on using tampons ,use a thin panty liner they have ones for thongs and regular panties.

Have you tried tucking the string up a little inside so it isn't hanging? That's what I do. It only took me forever to figure it out though.

Dont use them they hurt to much so use pads so much better and easier well thats for me

I dry the string off with TP, myself. Sitting with a wet string in your pants isn't comfortable and extra wetness down there is never a good idea. But our urine is sterile to our own bodies, so there's no concern as far as germs go.

you could always cut the string off, depending on the shape and depth of your interior it may or may not be difficult to remove. maybe cutting it shorter, but leaving just enough to get a grip on it when you need to take it out? i do one of the things that was mentioned earlier, which is i pull it aside while urinating, and it seems to work.
i've actually also tried those reusable ''cups'' people use as an alternative to tampons, but they were really uncomfortable -- for me, at least. i know some people who swear by them. that's an option to consider. also, i've even heard of people using natural sponges, and washing and reusing them.

The other day I had a tampon in and jumped into the pool, the next thing I knew, all the water disapeared and the life gaurds were looking at me pointing and yelling Where did all the water go. I said I dont know ! as i slushed back to the locker room. I'll never do that again . lol

Well I spose if your confidet enough to ask then I can throw ya an answer. Ok girlie, dont push it inside, then u have to find it later, and who wants a finger messing aroundwhen you already have a tampon there. I do not use pads. I use tampons but the small slim fits. So heres your options.
1. use tampon brand "OB" they dont have a string (not reccomended but it is up to you)
2. hold the stringto the side ( you might forget)
3. Your "kitty" is like an upside down U- shape so wrp the string around it.
I used method 3 becasue, I didnt ever like my string showing in locker rooms at school, gym, or having my bf see it when i amgetting dressed or something.

I grab mine and pull it forward while i pee.it works quite well..i hate the damp string,it becomes irritating...
