Hi my name is Kirsten and I have been very fearful of sex. I've been with my fiancee for 4 years and we just did it for the first time like a week ago. I used to have panic attacks everytime we tried to do it and it got me real depressed. But now I've gotten over that most of the way now that I'm active. But there's something else that is bothering me...getting pregnant, I know that there's hardly a chance since my man wears a condom but there's always that small chance. I cannot bring a baby into this world for a long time cuz I need to make sure I can be a good mommy. So I'm scared of that small chance...

First of all, congratulations! Sex is just too fun and fulfilling when you're with the right person to miss out on. Second of all, have you considered birth control pills? That plus a condom makes it damn near impossible for him to impregnate you.

there are always plan B or morning after pills (if you're comfortable with that).
i personally hate taking birth control pills because they make me feel like i'm PMS-ing constantly. you could supplement the condom with spermicidal lubricant -- there are dozens of products out there. different types of implants, etc. you can ask your gynocologist or just research the web on your own. however, if it makes you any less anxious, i have been having sex for years, and i get pregnant very easily, but i NEVER got pregnant when i was using a condom, ever.
