Recently I've been getting clueless male requests for cyber s*x here at DailyStrength. DonaldWy from Ontario, Canada for one. Just wanted to know if other lesbians/dykes/women in general are also being targeted or maybe it was just a random Internet occurrence. I am not here at DailyStrength to cyber with *any* men.
I'm here for support, community and contact with other queer and queer friendly, sex-positive folk. I have enjoyed our discussions and appreciated your support. That's why I'm taking the time to post this message. For over a month I've had a lovely time here at Daily Strength. Recently I've had to re-examine my security protocols for my personal safety. My profile has been updated and now my photos and journal posts will be locked to the general public and for friends eyes only Up until now I've had them public to be of help to the most people. With the way this member invaded my space, went on about masturbation (which is a lovely thing in its place) and my photos (he was degrading to other lesbians in the photos), used language from my own profile to hit on me in an uninvited and undesirable way, I feel a need for some distance from the general DS population. I feel sad about that. I've taken care of myself and want to make sure all of you know why I changed my privacy levels. If there are men who are behaving like predators here, disturbing others then there are accounts that should be terminated. And if anyone in Canada knows the whereabouts of Donaldwy's wife, she might like to know that he has no respect for her as his wife or as the mother of their kids, 4 and 6 yo boys. If I knew her, I'd inform her of his need for skilled professional help and at the very least, marital counseling. I think its very important to maintain your security on this site. I am very clear with people and as a result it helps them, ive noticed some people are on here to talk about things that i find a little unhealthy so i see where they are at and tell them i do not want to go dont that route.

I've been targeted twice now and it's very upsetting. Unfortunately we can't stop the trolls but we can ignore them. All you can do is report them to Doug, put them on your ignore list and try not to let them upset you. I received one message which saw me delete everything and request for my account to be closed. Luckily they took too long to close my account and my "true" friends here supported me through this. Only accept friends from people you know, not just anyone and if you upset them, TOUGH LUCK!!!!

although I myself am a guy, and a married one at that, may i offer my apologies for the idiots like the guy you mention who have nothing better to do with their time than try to boost their own miserable ego's by making someone else here feel small or bad about themselves.
its always the minority that usually ruin it for the few good ones. as for respecting lesbians, or other women in general, if your willing to say hello to me then i respect your right of choice, each to their own and all that, just as long as you don't go saying your a politition or something terrible ,lol I have ppl on my friends list that I chat to on a daily basis who are in same sex relationships and to me they are just my mates and friends to hang out with , doesn't mean I'm going to hit on them, and their not desperate enough to hit on me , ha,ha I sincerly hope you find the right support you seek here and get to meet some really wonderful ppl such as I have been privelidged to meet here to. have a wonderful day, Sully, ( all the way from the land of oz)

Also be aware of this character Admiral who slammed someone who posted lesbian sex issue. Do these guys not know how to read? At the bottom of this box I am typing in it says "In adding this comment, I ..... do promise to be nice." This is a hint to cretins to try to have some civility or don't post!

I usually get them randomly hitting me in chat, not in messages. Most of them aren't that bad, just annoying. Every once in a while though... On every site with live chat you'll find them. Sorry you were harassed.

theres a reason that DS offers security option.
althrought thur other web site- espically sites that DS member join, info on DS can be seen even if a DS member has DS security on thier DS profile. That's cyber space where everything can be seen if a person wishes to look. Instead of reading and replying to crap simply delete and report. dont give intuder thier required fix by communicating w them.
