Is it normal for a woman in her thirties to be so sexually aroused all the time that she can masturbate about ten times a day (if she has time, inclination)? Is it normal to become sexually aroused when you have to urinate? Also, is it true that women in their thirties have heightened sexual stamina closely resembling that of a teenage boy ? Does not having someone (for intimate relationship) play a role in this condition?
I am very embarrassed about asking but don't know how else to find out if what I am feeling/experiencing is normal. When I was a pre-teen and teenager, I was aroused constantly and almost to the same degree as now. I was molested when I was 3-13 and was abused in other ways too- quite severely. I thought this had a play in it. In my twenties, I wanted nothing to do with sex.... barely masturbated. Now, it's like I have been reawakened or something.... just trying to figure out what's up. My guess is that this is linked to your abuse. Some survivors of sexual abuse are very sexual while others are not. Also, you might have hit your sexual prime recently, so that could have something to do with it, too. This might be a good question for the Sexual Abuse support group if you'd want to post it on there.

It could be because you were abused but it could also be because you are at your sexual peak and you don't have a partner for sex.. I dated a woman in her 30's that hadn't had a partner for some time before I met her. She almost raped me the first date and even after that she wanted sex all the time. I had a very high sex drive but she wore me out. So I think you are very normal and some man will be very lucky.

I also found my sex drive increased in my thirties so must be something to do with hormomes

I hear you. I've gone from "don't touch me I can't handle it, it's too confusing" to "everything looks like a delicious *&^^" . I am sexually starved most of the time and need need need to eat!!!!!
It's bad, last night I was sooo sexually hungry I was nauseous. I ate goldfish crackers, drank chocolate milk and went back to bed. I've had the molestation stuff but not for as long. the emotional abuse was probably the worst and has caused the most confusion, stress, strain within my life . . . but alas I digress. To respond to your question, yes, I have been informed that as women our hormones change somewhere around 40 or so. During that time, we are reaching more of a sexual peak. (I'm pretty bad off right now) My girlfriend reassures me that it won't last forever and eventually it will fade back. I haven't decided whether that is good new or not though. My current solution is to eat chocolate and work as much as possible. I know that sounds ridiculous, but for right now . . . it's safe.
