So just when I thought I was putting my life back together and dealing with everything... my phone rang. It was my landlord telling me that they want to move back into the house that Im living in and I have to be out by Dec 1!!! Great now what do I do, I dont have enough money for rent for this place, security deposite for another place, and rent for the new place. Its just me I dont have my bf to help me with anything. To make matters worse he is now on the SO list so I dont know if we can even move to an apt or townhouse because we have all these restrictions on being so far from a pool, park, or anywhere there are minors. Does anyone have any advice I have no idea what to do. Thanks in advance.

depending on what state you live in there are certain laws the landlord has to follow. if you cant afford rent and rent for the new place, dont pay your current rent where you are living and save it for the new place. (again, check state law before doing this) in ohio where i live, if you dont pay rent they have to evict you by taking you to court and you have so many days to move. and then when you have the money you can always pay the month you skipped to your landlord. if thats the case in your state you will have at least a month to find a new place and save for rent and deposit. just a thought. im sorry things are stressful on you. its hard when you are the one left behind. they do the crime and we do the time with them along with having to take care of all the issues out here! stay strong, it will work out! hugs!!

That is a rough one! Especially if you are highly responsible type and rach's idea goes against your grain....though I do not have any other better answer for you.
My sister has done the same when their finances really got nasty and it became her own paycheck instead of hers and hubby's check. She could not find a way out of her situation...when money is limited sometimes you have to make choices you really do not want to do. Another alternative...but may not work very feasibly for you would be to get a second job. Even though many places are not hiring alot of times fast food or grocery stores are looking for good, reliable people. Trying to work an extra 20-35 hours a week in a month you could have 400 or 500 hundred dollars set aside...plus with holidays coming up alot of places will be looking for part time help. The other choice would be to get a loan from a family member but that comes with all sorts of bites in the rear end too. Like hearing forever how they helped you over and over and over again for the rest of your life. Possibly. So If I were you I would try and see if I could get a second job and at the same time try to cut corners now on your current bills. Cut back on cable tv, spend less time grabbing a bite at McD's or whatever and you will be amazed it you act as if suddenly you do not have money how easy it is to say NO to everything. It will help you to get back up and running on less so that you have enough for the move. So sorry for this mess....we used to worry our landlord would do the same but he has 4 houses now due to deaths in his family so we probably do not have to worry about that one anymore. Any chance of actually buying right now....they have some super great deals if you are a first time home buyer...like no money down and low interest rate and ALOT of houses out there for sale and rent. You may end up in a better situation then you have now either way. Just know with a second job it would not have to be for long either my Xmas you could go back to one job. Or keep it if you like the work too. Hope something someone says will work for you sweetie! Love and prayers! Love Rhea

When is your bf coming home? Right now just concentrate on getting a place for you. Your landlords doesn't sound very considerate. Its so short notice. They should and have to understand that they won't be getting the rent that month.. Its is costly when you have to pay first, last and deposit.
