i agree with "suchaslife", is it possible to visit him with his mother? giving up your visits was very kind, but visits are so important in the relationship.

Lisa, you are a very strong and supportive, loving woman especially to do that. Man, it has killed me to lose my visits for a year.

When both son and fiance were in MN prison's I could only be on one inmate's list. My son had a million visitors, and fiance had only me, son was almost out, so my son let me take my name off of his list. That killed me, but he was home shortly after.

The last time they were both in, they were in different states, so I got to see both. OMG sometimes I drove 3 hours to see my son in the morning, then 3 hours home, then the next day drove 2 hours to see my fiance. Son's visits weren't as long as where fiance is. We get 3 hours I think there, maybe 4, can't even remember. In Wisconsin they have a kitchen, you order pizza, burgers, chicken, desserts. It comes out of their canteen. Oh boy, gotta send canteen money, since I can go soon.

It's a way of " going out to dinner" ( with guards watchin) together.

It's the only time they get normal food, except when they let them order pizza hut once a year, and KFC... that is weird, the other prison's never had that. From prison to prison, its different even in the same state.

Sorry it took me a while to write back. Work has been insane. I could visit with his Mom but she goes with his Dad, Sister and Son. He's only allowed so many visitors and I rather him meet with his family and our Minister.
