ET Progressing?

I've had essential tremor disorder for years. I'm 30 years old. It has mostly affected my hands and arms, sometimes head. And I have noticed over the past few years that it seems worse than it used to be. But last night I was standing in the living room, and my leg & foot (the one my weight was not most on) was shaking. My legs have never shaken before. Could this mean my tremor is spreading and/or progressing?

" The thing to do is to see your neurologist or primary care physician. There is more anxiety from wondering what something is or might be than going and finding out. You might have a simple case of muscle fatigue. Basically, I am saying to be proactive and see your physician. Stress is a factor with ET. So, do all that you can to lessen your stress. "

" I would consult with a Neurologist & discuss this with them. That is their specialty. I've had ET since I was very young. I'm in my 40's now & it does progressively get worse with age. It runs on my dad's side of the family. There is a 50% chance of passing it on to one of your children. There are different types of positions that can affect the tremors moreso. Also, stress & anxiety aggravate them. Your best bet would be to see a Neurologist. Best of luck! "
