I go to a day treatment program when I am not working. My problem is my therapist is talking about sending me to a private care. I am fine with this but, my insurance company says no and will refuse to pay for private care. So I went and talked with my primary care physician and I have an appt. with him so he can take care of my medication for my anxiety attacks. Am I doing the right thing by leaving the program without having a therapist or a psychiatrist? I cant afford to pay out of pocket so, they leave me no other alternative.

" What is a day treatment program and what is the purpose of seeing a psychiatrist or therapist for epilepsy? Is this because of the anxiety attacks? Have you talked to your therapist and let him know your insurance will not cover private care? He should be willing to work with you. "

" A day treatment program is socialization for people who have mental illness and some have epilepsy. Yes they do know and I go there for my anxiety and depression, which I haven't had any symptoms for a really long time. This is why she wants me to go to private care.
It is a really nice program. They show you how to deal with your mental illness, healtht diets, verbal therapy, medications and if you have seizures how to deal with them what medications to take.
I would recommend this place for anybody who needs help. "

" If you have medicare or medicaid you have to go through their group of doctors to get medical help for anything like therapist or a psychiatrist
and it will be paid for. "
