I weaned myself off of my seizure meds. It has been almost a week now since no meds. I know that I am taking a risk, but I am tired of all the side effects. The last straw was having the seizures and almost losing my job.
The doctor lowered my meds and said that I was being over medicated. When he lowered the meds I started to feel better. I mean there was less headaches, I wasn't tired all the time and my memory was coming back. So I went a step further. Now I have more energy, my headaches aren't as severe and my memory is back. My problem is nobody knows and if I tell anybody its just going to be a mess. This is actually causing the panic attacks to return. I know I should tell someone (like my dr). Can I have another seizure, because I went off my meds? Posted on 10/29/09, 07:10 pm |

I hope everything goes well for you too. So far everything is fine. My memory is back and people have notice that one. No seizures or tremors and no headaches. I feel great and I am not moody, like I was before. Lamictal is suppose to be a mood stabilizer I was more moodier on the drug than I am off. I will tell my neuro as soon as I get the chance. Thanks for your concern and I have a great night.
