My 3 year old daughter has been diagnosed with frontal lobe seizures and EPC. The frontal lobe seizures seem to be under control, however the EPC is getting worse. It seems to be triggered by stress. Her neurologist wants to do a MEG scan. I am not sure of this test because it requires sedation. My daughter recently ran into complications from a drug induced coma and ended up on life support for 16 days. It has been a nightmare since all of this started 8 months ago.
Has anyone gone through a MEG scan? Posted on 09/03/09, 10:09 pm |

I wish I had some information for you, I don't but I just wanted to send you my sincerest hopes that this ordeal will end for you and your daughter. Maybe you should do a 'google' search, or check out the Mayo clinic website and see what they say about the test. Good luck.
From one mom to another.
