" I am currently taking Keppra and there have been a lot of people saying they would never take it again. That is how I am with Zonegran. However, there have been a lot of people that haven't had problems with it.

Personally, I could not sleep. I was only getting about 2-4 hours a day. My doctor told me that was not caused by the Zonegran. However, I eventually ended up in the hospital. I jumped out of the chair and started screaming and yelling at my husband and accusing him of all kinds of things. He called an ambulance and I had to go to the hospital. It took about 4-5 days to get me back to normal.

I have heard of a few people that take Zonegran along with a sleeping pill.

Best of luck to you. You never know how one medication is going to react from one person to the next. Keep your doctor informed. "
