" I think the astelin is working better than the flonase did in terms of decreasing the amount of drainage so I don't always have a runny nose. I also have noticed a decrease in sinus headaches, but that may also be due to the fact that I've been taking singulair now too. The only thing I don't like about astelin is it has a bitter taste and burns a little. But overall it's better for me. Still not a perfect fix. "

" Below are some new information fresh from the Astelin website:

ASTELIN is the only prescription antihistamine nasal spray approved to treat symptoms caused by both seasonal allergens and environmental irritants.

ASTELIN provides relief from bothersome nasal symptoms such as congestion, itchy/runny nose, sneezing and postnasal drip due to seasonal allergens or environmental irritants.

ASTELIN is steroid-free, does not contain pseudoephedrine, and relieves your symptoms by blocking the effects of histamine — the primary cause of allergy symptoms.

ASTELIN is available by prescription only. Ask your doctor if treatment with ASTELIN may be right for you.

I hope this information is helpful. "
