Saw Palmetto for BPH

Many of you ask me about this
Saw Palmetto has been studied extensively for the treatment of mild-moderate benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).

1) Evidence demonstrates that saw palmetto IS effective in the treatment of mild-moderate BPH.

2) It has also been well established that saw palmetto does NOT interfere with the measurement of PSA (prostate specific antigen)

3) Doses used in most studies were 160 mg twice a day and therapeutic effects are observed within 3 to 4 weeks after starting treatment.

Has anyone had success with saw palmetto?
