I tried for a short while and could not tell a diffrence so I quit.

Hi. After the doctor kept sticking a catheter in me every few weeks I got tired and did some research and decided to try saw Palmetto. Best thing I ever did. Along with Zinc, Selenium,pumpkin seed. I no longer have difficulty going going too much. I urge everyone to at least try some of the alternatives to drugs. God Bless. David

I've been using a supplement called Prostate Support for many years with success. It has these two herbs along with many other helpful ones.

I read that someone was going to try SAW PALMETTO, as an alternative to using Avodart.I would be interested to hear just how that trial went as I will be presenting that option to my husband. I am not certain he will give up taking the Avodart intially. I doubt there are interactions for the two to be taken together. However, the benefits to urinating faster are not all that he had hoped for with Avodart, and if the SAW PALMETTO brings improvement that should impress him enought to consider going off of Avodart. I would be interested in hearing of experiences using SAW PALMETTO, Please note the dosage which was used to bring about that result (or lack there of) and length of time you had/have been on that dosage.Also just as a secondary thought... Did you notice any other benefits if applicable (reduction of high blood pressure or increased sex drive).Thanks!!!

I took it for about 2 weeks,and noticed no difference,now im tryin zinc,that hasnt worked yet,but its only been a few days. Got a doc appt in a week and a half.
