Have you tried Zoladex? I had a good response to it - feeling great and no new growths in 6 months yay!!

A woman I work with who is a RN took Lupron and ended up in the ER unable to breathe. So, she definitely calls the stuff poison.

Jamie....i believe the women on here who had bad side effects with lupron posted them and you commented back saying that we had no medical proof of this and we should only post our side effects from lupron if we had evidence that lupron caused our current problems.
Our evidence is in our stories...and we did share them with you. You refuted them.

Just like with so many other meds for severe medical conditions (I consider endo severe due to how horrible it can be to live with it) there are side effects. It is definitely good to weigh the pros and cons, and it's difficult because you never know how something might affect your body.
I would also like to point out that I have seen some research from Vanderbilt University about how there are a lot of illnesses that have a high occurrence in women with endo. If I remember correctly, a lot of them are the issues some women say Lupron caused. I think it would be interesting to see if Lupron is the reason a lot of endo patients end up with these issues or if Lupron just ends up being made the culprit (and yes, I know it's hurt a lot of women either way). I would also like to ask if anyone knows...are these Lupron-evil stories just endo patients? I know this is also used a lot for premature puberty and testicular cancer. Do those individuals end up with the same issues?

I just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your help and responses! I have decided that I will be ending my lupron days [I was supposed to get shot #2 today] and trying out the natural method. As I have heard that about 80% of women have at least some kind of success with their diet! =) You're all amazing!!!

I was the woman who posted about the severe reaction. Lupron ruined my life. I call it my kiss of death. I am now disabled and suffer severe pain for 2 years now since my one and only shot. I posted several links regarding reported side effects to the fda, other womens stories, info on the law suit from 1993 when lupron was in trial phases from the women injured from it. there is another lawyer working on a class action lawsuit for injured women now.

Hey all! I guess that I should have let you know sooner. But I was supposed to go and get my second shot of Lupron on November 9th. And I chose not to. They want to send me to a chronic pain clinic. So I guess we'll see what happens from here!
