My doctor gave me provera to hopefully jump start a cycle so i can start my first round of clomid. She gave me a 10 day dosage and I took my 10th pill yesterday. I havent had any signs of a period.. I am wondering how long after you finish your provera it should take to start?

I think it took me a week after to start...but on the last day of taking it a cyst i didn't know I had ruptured...so maybe it delayed it?

I had provera to try treat the endo, it started me immediately on an 8month long heavy period.... not sure that is very helpful to you though! Did your doc give you an indication of how long it should take? I also replies on your other post about HCG and progesterone to stimulate ovulation, and will happily share all the info I have with you x

It can take several days. One time I was on it I got my period a day after I stopped it....then next time it was a week...and the last time it was 4 days.

I used to have to take provera to get my period to start also, it took me just until my last pill to start, I would say if after a week you do not start I would probably call your doctor.....

Thanks for all of your advice! I took my last pill 10 days ago so I called my doctor she said to wait another week and a half and then she will give me Prometrium anyone heard of it? thanks
