" I am so sorry you feel so badly . I have never heard of zoladex and if you try it I would say to document how you are feeling on a daily basis. (I like to be careful)
I was also curious, can you please tell me how you got this working to get endo recognized more over there? Who did you talk to? or what person of influence assisted you?

Thanks :) and Good luck "

" Hi there! I am so sorry to hear of your pain and suffering. I know how difficult it must be for you. I have stage 4 endo with chronic pain. I have also tried every meds under the sun, to no avail. Having my 5th lap on 20 July. Trying Venlafaxine out with Tramadol at the moment. I have been on Zoladex for 2 6-month stretches. It did make me get hot flashes, headaches, dry skin etc. but it did sort of keep the endo and pain a bit under control. i'd say it's worth a try. What have you got to lose? I will be trying the Mirena some time soon. Any advice? I hope the Zoladex works for you :) All the best! "

" hey there :) kind of new to this. your post caught my eye. i was on zoldex for a 9 month period. it had alot of side effects which your doctor should tell you about. some of them are the headaches, hot flushes, dryness, mood swings, weight gain. but im fortunate that i didn't really suffer much with the side effects. i would say that it helped alot in terms of keeping the pain and the endo under control. my doc was happy with the progress after the course of zoladex. try googling it also. lots of good info out there.

good luck :) "

" Hey there!
I hate to see so many of us going through all this crap but anything we can do to help each other is great in my opinion.
I've just completed a six month course of zoladex. Unfourtunately in my case they have done nothing except make my life hell. But after reading the other 2 ladies accounts, it obviously works for some people and it does have a 48% success rate and also only 1 in 3 women can actually complete the course itself. Thats what I've read anyhow.
I felt awful regarding the side effects throughout and now that they're leaving my system I feel like I'm losing my mind some days. Y'day I cried all day but now today I feel a lot better. As for the side effects, I had hot flushes, night sweats, headaches, weight gain and the only reason I completed the course was so the docs couldn't throw it back at me that I didn't complete it even though I know my body and knew that nothing was changing.
The way I try to put it into perspective is like this, if the injections had stopped my pain I would have no problem going through it again for the simple fact of pain relief. So even though it was hell, if the pain had eased I would do it again. I hope this makes sense!
All the luck in the world and I pray it works for you x "
