" I LOVE B12 shots! I found out I had a B12 deficiency last year when I had blood work done. I was having really bad leg cramps and after my first shot they went away. My doctor gave me a prescription for B complex vitamins in between my monthly shots. My copay is $15 a shot which isn't bad. Also, my doctor said they are good for boosting your immune system before taking a trip and good for your metabolism. I definitely feel energized the day of my shot! I talk a lot afterwards. "

" Hello! I get the B12 shots too after having a deficiency discovered...but haven't really noticed a difference. I give myself the shot once a month, but can't really earmark any change in alertness or less fatigue afterwards. But I am up for doing anything that is supposed to help in the long run. It is definitely easier to give it myself then to have to go and pay once a month and wait in the doc office! You may want to see if they will just give you the syringes and B12 :) Good luck "

" I started the b12 shot last Saturday. I have yet to really feel any change in my energy level. My question is for those who have had it how long did it take for you to feel the effects of the shot? "
