I have endometrosis but I kept having pain in my upper left abdomen for you who don't know what I have been through...if you would like, go and read my profile....

Well, it's been almost a year and just found out on Monday after my colonoscopy, that wasn't completed...My colon is twisted more than a normal person's and I go back to my GI specialist on the third of september to go over my options...I have no idea what those options are but nervous and anxious about them too!! My test wasn't completed as my gi specialist couldn't get the scope through my colon and I have been in pain since then because he had aggrivated it! I am jsut glad to know what has been causing my constant pain....I will keep you all updated on my situation!

Take care....

Tracey

" upper left abdomen is the same place i had adhesions on my bowel from endo. my left ovary is the one that keeps causing trouble and there is more endo on that side than the other. have had the bowel cut away from abdominal wall twice, which helped. i would put money on this being similar to what you have. there is hope! if you have bowel adhesions, pain relief is all you can do until you get the adhesions cut away. " My colonoscopy was SO painful as well (but the doctor insisted everyone's is and since then I have asked and no one but you had it be painful). He said there was nothing wrong with me, but I think he is wrong because of all the bowel problems I have...at least your pain had some purpose if they are getting closer to an answer and it sounds like Myster135 may be right....if it is affected that bad, there will be a solution with either surgery or a diagnosis like IBS or IBD...good luck!!!
