Just wondering if everyone usually has a normal period after your lap? On time? I know my gyno informed me that usually your 1rst period after your lap usually has the same cramping as your periods before you had the lap and then afterwards they should be pain-free. I know I have some real killer cramps now:(

Thanks:)

" Even though I had a lap, my period did come about a week late and I had cramps. That was back in July 08 and I still have cramps with my periods. I had a lapartomy in jan 09 to remove my endo and my left ovary, although for the most part I'm pain free when not on my period, but when she arrives, the cramps are bad. I'm sorry you have such bad cramps. Did your DR give you motrin? My OB gave me 800mg and it helped and I used a lot of heat. Baths helped too, and hot showers with the water directly on my belly. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me. I've been through it all. Feel better Heather!

" Well I really hope the endo doesnt come back after almost 4 weeks after surgery! My period has been really different-real bad cramping, awful mood swings, clots are still there, the blood does look more red( not to be too detailed and nasty..sorry guys!) bc it used to look real dark-almost black. ENDO STAY AWAY! "
