Lupron Depot

I have been dealing with pain for almost a year now. At first i went to the ER and they told my i had a large cyst that ruptured. Well the pain never went away so i finally went to an OBGYN-i never had been to one before-and he put me on birth control, well the birth control wasn't helping with my pain so he then scheduled me for a laparoscopy. After the surgery he told me that all he found were some scar tissue and adhesions on my bowels that he had NO IDEA of where they came from or why they were there. At my post-op visit he told me there was nothing else he could do for me!! So i went to get a second opinion. Well this doctor told me that i have Deep Tissue Endometriosis. Her "treatment" for this is for me to start taking Lupron Depot Injections. I am due to start my injections in 3 weeks. Well i have been on the internet googling and searching all about this shot and i have been reading many HORROR stories about the effects this drug has had on many women. Is there anyone who has taken Lupron and maybe it has worked for you? Or is it all bad reviews?!

" i can tell you that Lupron has completly helped for my Endo! all of my Endo symptoms are gone..and before i was in such pain i couldnt barely work! I do have symptoms from the Lupron, some are minor and some are a little aggressive. They very from hot flashes to mood swings, vaginal dryness, dizyness, light headness & the most resent depression. BUt if i have to weigh it out i much rather have the syptoms from the Lupron then the symptoms from my Endo. good luck!! "
