Advice on what to expect

My son was diagnosed with herpes encephalitis at 3 weeks old. He survived but yesterday I was told by a neurologist that he has a lot of scar tissue on his brain. It seems one of the side affects has been seizures that they are just now discovering and my son is 10 months old. I am just wondering what should I expect and what I can do about this. He goes to speech, physical, and occupational theraphy and the doctor is starting him on a new seizure medication. I guess I don't know what to think about the MRI. If anyone has experienced this please contact me. Thanks.
