hI ALL. sORRY FOR THE SUDEN NON INVITED ENTRANCE FROM ME LOL. bUT i DO HOPE THAT i WILL BE WELCOME JUST THE SAME .. There are many forms of the feeling of emptiness. The loss of a loved one.. Rejection from family friends &b others in many ways. There are even non virbal ways that folk can feel thease kinds of a gop . Of emptiness. Body talk of others . Facial expresions & so on.. I am one of many who know all thease feelings ect all too well. For some of us its just a passing faze. For others its an on going one. For me its a mixed selection of both. Its not so much people that cause it when they do some thing or say some thing or not. It is down to atitude ect. there are departments that work hard to takle the symtpoms Like what folk do to cause sad or bad things to happen to us & that to a point is ok ect but they need to be working hard on ATITUDE. . When folk shun us ect wwe & others need to be looking at dealing with the atitude not so much the person. We can not change people but we can all encourage them to ect. Negative atitudes like this should be discouraged.. But when it comes to other things that make us feel empty then there is litttle can be done about that eccept for the on going help & suport of the rest of us not just on any web site but the land they cal sivalisation... Take care all . If you want to know me more or at alll then please just read my profiles & jurnals. Even mesage me.. Graham From Scotland.

" My sons are grown oup and on there own for some years now. Even though I got a hubby here with me, (not the father of my sons) I am still lonely for my sons to be home. And with getting older, I feel they need me less and less in there life. Friends where I live are non exsisting, my hubby is my friend. I live in the country and have many medical problems can't drive far and so everything here in the country is far away so can't do like volunteer work. I have many days of sadness and the loss of my children growing up and leaving home.

I think we feel this way as it takes so long to raise children and then one day we blink our eyes and they are gone, seems to suddenly to me.

When I lived in the city i did alot of volunterring now I don't so my mind goes back to when my children were home and feel sad many of the times. "

" Hi. I dont know if I should reply to you here or mesage you the other way. Any way . I do understand how you feel although Im not a parent. There are many other things that can give a symulor feeling to non parent folk. Like there are times when I used to wish I could just go home to my mum even at times when for reasons out with our controll it was not posible or that easy to do. Sice her death over 2 years ago I have still had that feeling. Regreting leaving home wishing things could have turned out in ways thay would be better than it. I feel the cap the loss the emptiness ect in that way but it still alows me to understand how you feell. I do not like any forms of seperation ect as I have had many. I would like to put ideas as to waht you can try but its not for me to tell you & I dont fully know if it would be valid. You say you dont drive . Does your huby drive?. NMaybe he could set something up for you to meat folk even like your self. NMaybe he has friends who can also help. I know you have to be carefule who you contact on the web but there are web sites where folk of your age ect are also lonely ect. NMaybe you could try them. There may even be folk on here who would some how be willling to help. Some times when we cant go to do some thing we need it to be made posible in other ways. I will leave it at that for now but if you wish to talk more about it then please do feel free to mesage me on the usual way. Take real care. I look after an epileptic frien at home. You can read my profiles & jurnals to find out more add me as a frend send hugs ect too. Thank you. I await your reply hopping you do not find me rude or interfearing Lol.. Take real care.. " Flutter do you believe that a lot of the lonlieness is where you are living? i ask this because I moved to an area that is more off the beaten path, and I realized it was closer to my husbands job, but farther from all the people I care about....when I moved here, my oldest son was living across the street.....they encouraged us to look at the house as it was being built and knew we were looking for a house closer to my husbands job....I knew my son was not going to be in the neighborhood longer than 2 years as they were trying to just get equity in the house and move to an area with better schools....I was really ok knowing all that.....and thought moving to this area was going to be a good change for us in general, but it just isn't the case.....I realize now after 3 years that it has just put distance between me and my family...not just in terms of miles....I also have a sister who has virtually disowned me because I moved out of her area.....she considers it that I abandoned her......I believe that where you live has such a huge impact on your feelings.....I know what you mean when you say the driving isn't easy on you, I am dealing with some rehab issues with my leg and to make the drive back to where people I love are at sometimes seems to be so difficult.....the driving leg is the one affected, so I can understand what you mean.....is there a way for you to move back closer to the city?
