why cant doctors be more careful when handling us? why? is it to hard for them to read in the medical folder an read the part that says "handle with care has EDS". is it to hard for them to just take those extra steps to make sure you dont get injured when moved from one bed to another?

i had to have a stent in my finger due to complications an that now i went in with a busted up finger an i came out with another busted up finger on my other hand an a busted up elbow from them not reading my medical folder properly!

ARGH!! sorry but its annoying when you get new doctors. my original hand ortho that i normally go to would of done the op himself except he was already in theater at the time handling something else an thus i was left for his new minions who know stuff all about eds or only ever hear it at med school an not told that others are out there in the real world! pff. minions is all they are. not even doctors but then it was a easy thing to do an that it was just the moving my limp body to the next bed that caused havoc on them, lol. never thought to take extra care when it said so in my folder. ah well i suppose a few weeks in two slings aint that bad. i get out of a lot of things which is good well i hope in 10 days time when i see my ortho he will let me get out of the slings rather then stay in them for a long time. i'm only really seeing him to get the stitches out.

any ways just had to vent

" Where are the wallet cards avalible? I had told endless hospital staff what to be carefull of before i went under for surgery, only to have been passed to someone else that I didn't warn while I was out who doesn't know I have fragile skin and have the stiches tear out. Very frustrating. Makes me want to pin a giant sign to my shirt anytime I go near a hospital. "
