I got a nice little case of pneumonia last week, and every cough subluxes a couple ribs. I can pop them back in, but if hurts a lot until I do, and then I cough again, and it starts all over.
I also started yet another round of PT (that's what I get for moving, have to start over with new docs who don't listen when I say it gives me more pain), and am crying by the time night rolls around 3x/wk. I finally started pain management last week as well, and they insisted that I have to give the PT time, and won't give me anything besides 150 mg of lyrica a day until I complete the PT (3x/wk for 6 wks). I'm afraid to go to the ER for relief, because of the stupid contract I had to sign when I started at the pain cinic-don't wanna get dropped, as this is the only pain clinic within 40 miles of me, and it hurts to sit for that long, so driving to the next nearest would be bad. Poor you - sounds like a nightmare. I am n chronic pain but not to the point of crying continiously. Have you got friends and family near? aybe they could help out with all the other bits and pieces you need to do to take the load off>?
