I've eczema for 8years now...
And finally , i found a doctor who was recommended by my friend. His brother in law was in extreme eczema case, claim to be far worst than mine. He got cured nearly completely after 8months of treatment. The method of treatment is natural detoxification found by a doctor from japan called Doctor Tsai. He name this treatment as naigaikyoukou (meant beautiful people). 1st thing, stop using any kind of steroid cream! It will only get you worst! There was a research to test the effect of steroid cream on atopic eczema patient. They separate patients into 2 group. Those who did not apply steroid based cream, and those who did. In the end result: - They found those who did not go on steroid seems to have mild eczema for 2 weeks and it went off eventually. It does comes once awhile - Those who applied steroid cream seems to temporary cure almost immediately after application. But as time past by, their problem flare up again and it get worst and worst. Stronger steroid cream has to be used to control them. Its like antibiotic. The immune system will eventually immune to steroid cream and there will be no solution for eczema! except to go for immunosuspresso (used by organ transplant to avoid allergy reaction after transplant - OMG!) The key to most skin disease like atopic eczema is toxin in the body. If you take toxin prone food like cheese, peanut, durian, seafood and egg, you are putting in toxin in the body. On top of that, stress will also slowdown the body detoxification, therefore increase toxin in the body. Dermatologist have no idea what really spark the problem to rise. It is believed that when toxin level is way high, a simple stress in life could spark out the skin disorder and can never be cure by mere trouble overloading steroid cream! For god sake, i read somewhere that fda did not even approve steroid cream for skin treatment. It was used by dermatologist because they have no solution! please read more here: http://www.newskintherapy.com Posted on 08/05/09, 03:08 am |

I'm also on a candida free diet/detox. The theory behind this is that overgrowth of yeast in your body can lead to eczema, and other illness. We naturally have yeast and bacteria in our body, however when they become unbalanced we experience problems. Yeast overgrowth can be caused by antibiotic use as well as stress, our lifestyles and diet. Antibiotic use is especially bad for eczema because antibiotics kill good as well as bad bacteria causing the yeast in our bodies to multiply and take over. Which is why the doctor's will warn that you can develop a yeast infection when taking a course of antibiotics. However, they do not warn you how bad the yeast infection can be and how it affects your body. The yeast can actually become a systemic yeast infection and not just a vaginal or oral yeast infection. Additionally, if you eat sugars, yeast feed on the sugar and continues to multiply. And there is really no way to kill off the yeast unless you begin to detox and to cut out whatever feeds yeast from your diet. My naturopath also showed me in the medical books where doctors discuss the effects of candida in the body which is confusing as all the doctors I've seen all told me that they can't tell me causes of eczema besides stress. They also told me that there is no way to deal with eczema except steroid pills and creams. Anyway, the first few weeks of detoxing is difficult because the yeast is dying and it must exit the body usually through your urine or skin. Which is why it is necessary to detox because it helps your body process the toxins and hopefully the toxins exit through your waste instead of the skin. But you will have at least some exit through the skin which results in a flare up. But once you get through those few weeks, it becomes more tolerable and once you begin seeing the improvements, it is worth it. My worst weeks were the first 4 - 4/12 weeks.
However, I am doing my treatment under a naturopath's care and direction. So be careful if you plan to do this detox on your own because you'll need to be prepared for trial and error on what products work well together. I wish everyone the best of luck.

If any of you have finally decided to go for the treatment,
please let me know. I can lead you to the treatment center. My number is +6012-3221812. My wish is that you do not have to suffer more from steroid cream... and finally get to a proper path to recovery. I've suffered it, and currently on the treatment. This week will be my 10th treatment so far...
