I'm trying to find a sunscreen that my skin will tolerate.

I've crossed several off my list: Aveeno Baby, Coppertone, Nature's Gate Mineral, Ombrell, Lubriderm. Oddly enough, I found a store brand one from The Real Canadian Superstore (Loblaw's) "President's Choice Sport SPF 30" that I'm able to use without major flareups. Only thing is it doesn't smell so great and is really greasy.

By comparing ingredients, I can conclude that it's not the active ingredients (Avobenzone and Oxibenzone in the chemical ones or Titanium Dioxide and Zinc Oxide in the mineral one), but possibly the inclusion of alcohol in the non-medicinal ingredients. The President's Choice doesn't appear to have any alcohol ingredients listed. I've googled some of the chemicals on the label and they seem to just be preservatives and waxes. Plus it has shea butter so that's probably good.

Anyone tried any other alcohol-free sunscreens? I am probably going to try Nivea Baby and/or Banana Boat Kids because on their company websites they are both advertised as being alcohol-free. Anyone tried these yet?

Fortunately, after I try (and fail) a sunscreen, I give it to my husband and my daughter who can use them no problem. :)
