Well I am back at purging. I'm not sure if i would be considered binging because I have read that it is a lot more than a person normally eats. I am purging almost every day lately and usually more than once. I'm not really ready to come out and get help publicly. I am worried it could hinder me being able to find a job if this is on my record. I know it's wrong but it's like lately I can't help it and nobody even knows about it. There's no one I can talk to about this. I am sooo stressed right now trying to finish my masters degree. I thought I was okay until last year someone made a comment about me gaining a couple pounds. I have lost that weight and more. I feel like I am rambling, just kind of needed someone to talk to....

How is a healthier way to deal with stress??? Seems I have this problem every time I get stressed. Is there anything you have learned to do instead of these bad habits?

" dealing with stress is sooooooo hard. everyone has probems with it.

for me I take breaks during the day I try to calm down breath, and try to relax. I even close my eyes for a few minutes and chill...

also, i try not to expect perfection... seeing a therapist really really helped me realize a few things... nothing earth shattering, but it was helpful...

hey at least you know its the stress causing it... thats a great step ! keep at it. "

" OMG, yazzzz is so right and it's awesome that you know it's the stress that is causing it. I say awesome b/c sometimes people are just so baffled as to what is causing it.

For me deep breathing has helped, pacing, but just for a little while, doodling, talking to my dog or my husband. Or as I like to say "clearing my head" and I do talk to myself outloud. helps me shake the possiblities... well my latest thing is wanting to drink, but for you it is purging... I think you get my jist. "
