Your fears are irrational- you won't just start eating uncontrollably if you stop taking the ephedra. The only thing that will happen is that you will prevent anymore nerve-frying that you are doing while on them.

1) You don't NEED to work-out. Right now, you should honestly be on bed-rest and trying to recover from all this damage you are doing to yourself.
2) I have tried ephedra, and it has nearly killed me. I remember very little from high school when I took it (illegally, I might add- just like you are doing), and it saddens me because that was a more "care-free" time than now. You are apparently also killing yourself, and trust me, you WILL die. One of my friends from treatment was so addicted to these things that she ended up getting suicidal and psycho and nearly put herself in a coma with these "speed pills."
3) You can't stop the addiction alone. Like any drug, you need detox, which means checking into a hospital for a few days where they can monitor you and take care of you while you're trying to get this horrific drug out of your system. Please listen when I tell you to GO NOW, because I am sure everyone here (and everyone who knows you) would be devestated to learn that you had passed away due to a stupid fucking little pill, and the obsession to drop even MORE weight from your emaciated frame.

If you need any help, I would be glad to call around to hospitals in your area, and do some research for you. I am that adamant about you getting help, even if I did just meet you.

thanx, petite. Ur input are things I'll consider. I do know how bad ephedra is for you, but it's not that I'm OD-ing on it or anything like that. I only think in my head that i need it but i certainly don't need a detox place. and i don' t need bed rest. I was on bed rest at 77 lbs, never at 91! Ur body learns to get by at less & less weight you know.

I agree that your body gets used to it, but 91 pounds is still severely underweight, and I don't care if you've been 15 pounds lighter- it is STILL deadly.

I never OD'd on ephedra either, but studies have shown that people have died taking the "prescribed" amount. I also got very sick taking a normal amount too. You are just frying your nervous system by taking it.

Why wouldn't you need detox? You said that you get really cranky and feel crappy without the drug- and yes it is a drug just like PCP, LSD, etc.

Right now, you sound like you're really in the throes of your eating disorder. I REALLY hope that you will see just how un-worth it it is. You have a lot more potential and a beautiful future with your ED. With it, you have...slow and painful death.

Everyone's worried for my sis right now. She's 17 and needs help more than I..For me to come out with this would fornc her to the background and i've already had too much attention about my anorexia and health.

No...you EQUALLY need help. Would you say that one of two siblings with cancer has it "worse" and should get more attention? No, you would help the both of them to get treatment. Okay, so your sister gets help before you. Well, in the meantime, you are dying. As soon as your sister gets up to a semi-better weight, then you are down to something so low you go into a coma. Does that make sense to you?

You need to stop this stuff now. Haven't you heard of all the people who died from ephedra? Plus since you get it illegally you don't know what is really in there. If you need energy drink coffee or 7up. Exercising at your weight can give you a heart attack any time. If you ask me I think you should be in a hospital, so you don't have access to those pills and so you get some therapy and gain at least a few pounds. You are in serious danger.

My body almost shut down when i was 93 pounds and only 2 inches taller than you...you should really get help from somebody!!
