" Have you seen a Dr? There are some conditions and/or medications that can cause increased appetite and weight gain (I was on one, and It was like I was hungry all the time). It could also be something psychological has there been a trauma or a loss lately or is this common for you? Are you feeling hungry and or are these aren't binges brought on by ED? These are important questions to answer for your self and for your Dr b.c they will help lead to the treatment you will need.
Good luck "

" I have seen a doctor. He said the reason I eat is because of my childhood where there was no food or love. By eating it makes me feel better and makes me feel safe. What can I do to stop these feelings and find something else to replace it? I am over 100 pounds overweight and diabetes runs on both sides of my family. I don't want diabetes and I can't even breathe when I walk. I have to lose this weight and the first step is to stop eating all the time. "

" You should go see a therapist. They'll help you work through the reasons why you binge, so that you don't feel like you need to eat all the time. "

I lose hope half way through the first day and end up in the kitchen with a full plate of all fried foods and unhealthy foods. Have any of you been in this situation? "

" OH, it sounds so familiar, the eating out of control and the health issues. My father was diabetic and so was his father. I lost 80 pounds, found 15 back again, dog gone it. I am back on track but think of food all the time, sound familiar? For me OA and WW did not work, I've tried many things, including the liquid thing. For me Medical Weight Loss Clinic helped. Expensive but it is the first plan that I could stay on and lose the weight, It is a constant struggle, just keep trying, you will find your way. I hope I can help, be in touch. "

" I don't know that I have any advice, per se...but I just wanted to write and let you know you aren't the only one struggling with this. Even though I know the cycle of binge/purge is terribly distructive for me--all I can think about is wanting to binge. I totally sympathize. Even after a great day of visiting a farm, going for a walk with my dog and husband, and sitting here in a cute new outfit waiting to go get sushi (my favorite), I'm still consumed by wanting to just eat and eat.

I wish I had more insight, but I do know my urges we're greatly decreased, or better processed through therapy. I highly recommend it. I miss my amazing therapist terribly! Find one that vibes with you, and don't give up...there are professionals out there that will be able to reach you, and be on your same wavelength as far as whats going to help you beat your issues. Good luck, and much love! "

" All I can say is this is up to YOU. You can do this, its hard but its a choice. I was overweight by 130 pounds. It was so hard changing my life but i did it. I still have issues.... i binge here and there, but therapy has helped me a lot.

make a plan and stick to it.... dont let your emotions change your mind.... Im surprised therapy hasnt helped... "
