Do you ever feel guilty about how much money your parents or whoever spends to feed you back to a healthy weight? My mum says money is not a problem but every time I put something in the cart I feel guilty like if I drank all my calories it would be so much cheaper! Know it is just the ed talking but can't help it.

" I feel bad when I come home for the weekends and my mom goes out to buy a bunch of food to help continue my weight gain. She says it doesn't matter, but then when I go back into treatment, and we talked on the phone she told me that not only was I emotionally draining, but financially draining as well. "

" But.... don't let the ed talk to you and make you feel bad. I do both... food and ensure. Right now I'm trying to work more on the food part. In treatment we talk about how it's not "normal" to just simply live off of ensure/boost. Part of the recovery, is overcoming that, and working more with food. "
