Hi, It's been a little while since I've logged on. Just wanted to let you know that my almost 20 yr. old son has dyspraxia w/ apraxia. It's been less than a year since he was diagnosed but now that we know we are getting help with speech therapy. It's called PROMPT. You can search for it on the web. It's been effective and has built his confidence. Just a bit of trivia: Daniel Radcliff, from the Harry Potter movies, says he has dyspraxia and it even interferes with just trying to tie his shoes. Hope this lets you know you are not alone.

Hi Dolly Nice to know there are other adults out there with dyspraxia of my age. I am 23 years old and have been diagnosed since i was 8. However until coming across this group, whenever i looked up the condition on the internet it only seemed to mention help for parents with young children or the odd older person who wasn't sure if they did or didn't have the condition. glad people of my age are around and can get support
