Hi there,

I just thought I would introduce myself. I have been newly diagnosed with dyslexia. I am 25 and had imense difficulties as a kid with learning amonst other things. As I have grown up and gone though school and uni these have become more ingraned to the point I eventually sought help and got tested.

Now I finally have confirmation IM NOT STUPID!!!!

Anyway, I want to ask people what difficulties you have and how you overcome them. Basically I want some tips. Things I seem to have most difficulty with is talking on the phone (sucky considering I work in a call centre!) time keeping, and keeping track of my money. I think these are the main ones, how do you all work around these?

Sorry thats a bit long! If you read this far, Thanks! And, Hugs xXx

" I find that we all have different things. I keep writing things down, and hope no one see it but me lol. I tell most people just because it makes it easyer for me. my big thing is spelling and my fingers get mixed up,I have to go back so many times and look. I ask people to spell everything. When my son talks we sometimes lol because we are the same he talks backwards. he is 19 now I home schooled him and he is doing well. I don't know if this helps but I understand. take care Hugs "
