" Hi Gwen,

What the TCM doc told you may be correct. I often suffer from stomach upset and nausea as well. Like you, I have been suffering from dizziness and anxiety for 16 yrs. I see a TCM doctor frequently, and almost after every menstrual cycle, I seem to have damp heat in my body, with badly coated tongue. Go easy on sugar. "

" Hi there, it seems really strange someone else being dizzy with anxiety for as long as me. There is not one person I know of personally, friend, family, friend of family who can relate to it and I know they all (including old hubby) who just do not understand. The tummy problem and nausea is not pleasant, I think I will be going down TCM route, my doctor has absolutely no knowledge of any of it. I have read on what to eat to correct the dampness and reduce heat in the gut, so I think it prudent to see a TCM in person and also take any herbal remedy he prescribes - do you take anything from him/her - I have a book on Chinese herbal cures and the herbs sound really scary. Let me know.

Gwen "

" Hi Gwen,

In my country, TCM practitioners are very common. They will prescribe herbs based on your condition (through observation, tongue check, pulse taking etc), mixed and packed into satchets for easy consumption. I do not know what herbs go into the satchets. Hence, itis important to find a TCM who you are comfortable with and can trust. I have been seeing mine for more than 5 years.

I think my condition is worse (if not the same) than you. I have alot of ailments, but I don't know how many of which are peri meno related. Dizziness and stomach upsets are just 2 of them. Yesterday,I went for a bio-resonance test (not sure anyone heard about this) and discovered that I have cancer cells (cellular level). Also found alot of allergents which I have been consuming my whole life eg. chicken, duck, egg, milk etc. These could have trigger all the stomach ailments and even dizziness. Fortunately, I was told that the cancer cells can be cleared through treatment, and the allergents too. So I will follow-up with treatments. Live one day at a time. You take care. "

" Hi there, just picked this up. I have often wondered if my dizzies were allergy related, docs not interested. And now this yukky sickly, bitter constant feeling I feel may tie in. I think I really need to find a TCM, like you, in person I can trust. Had examination by specialist last week for a good ole feel around and could feel nothing. He will do the old camera job to have a closer look.

Keep me posted, I can so relate to you.
