Is it just me or has anyone noticed not very much going on in this group?I belong to 2 other groups and their boards are always busy. I just think we should try to relate and help each other more since were on here for the same thing. Anyone agree?

I was wondering if most peoples symptoms were caused by a medical reason or just anxity? And if stress and anxity made it worse? I was also wondering how people went about there day having this feeling? For me, I believe it is caused by stress. I dont feel dizzy like anything is spinning, but I feel wavy like Im on a boat and when Im in the store my vision is fuzzy. During December is was awful, I hated going into any store. I would go in and go out as fast as I could. I only went to stores that had carts for me to hold onto for support. When I less anxious its not so bad.

Oh! I am SO glad you posted that LeLe. I posted a question recently and only got one wonderful post. I started feeling like I am the only one feeling this way or having this problem.
BMason, I KNOW my dizziness gets worse with stress, not enough sleep and what I eat. I also know I have medical reasons why I feel so tired even after a well rested night. It's frustrating because I then have anxiety on top of the experience of feeling bad which is the vicious circle....I feel worse and the anxiety gets worse. I know for me the fuzzy feeling is anxiety but I also have a condition that I am light sensitive, my body can't tolerate the sun/heat well and the movement of busy things...(stores, cars when driving) aggravates my condition. Hope more people respond. I need some support! I am always willing to share and help anytime too. Hugs!

Sorry, I'm glad that you got more info., as vertigo has been in my life so long, it became skin. Yes, I believe, whatever ailment and/or disabilty affects someone longterm, it helps to attack your whole being.
We all know stress affects; heart; oxygen levels; diet; etc., etc. and our body needs some control. No, we can't do it all -- but we can make it better and try to have a better lifestyle. As the dizzy's, we know we can't fight it .. but we can stop; take deep slow breathings; reduce the levels and let it flow out. Whatever may in time work for you. For me: rituals like slow stretching is a definite need every morning, as my head & neck is sensitive to it's turns - I need flexibility to reduce any levels of risk. Take care as you learn your vertigo need. lol

i been having this off and on for yrs...sometimes i get it 2 monthes out of a yr..but i gt it every yr...im anxiety and on xanax and have bipolar..and high blood p..but like just going into a store and looking up on a shelf does it..driving more than 5 miles,,the computer does it the most..so i woulds say the most is the pc and driving..when i take my xanax it goes away for a bit..sao it could be from anxtys..im not on anthing till wednesday fo the bipolar..but this feeling isnit vertigo of mine its a unsteadiness...so i go to the docs tommrow to let him start the checking things.and another dang old problem..everyday its something....
in the 80,s i fell asleep with a tip in my ear and it went threw all the way..so now if i have someone talking on my left side i have to turn my head a certain way to relive that sound..and at times out of no were my ears ring so hard that i jump then they hurt a bit..alot of unsteadiness can be linked to the balance in the ears were this controls our balance and the sdame with the eyes..the eyes and ears work together to keep the fluids level to prevent vertigo..its very complacated..i know alot on this...but now i have it ..i wouldn't wish this feeing to anyone...

I work in the medical field i have had vertigo for 4 years the ent told me it was menieres but all tests were negative i went to a neuro that i used to work for and was now and i think finally correctly diagnosed with MAV migraine associated vertigo without headache, I have ear fullness ,motion sensitivity, blurry vision on and off, muscle aches in shoulders, starring spells, some flashing lights ever once in a while, every once in a while light tinnitus. I anyone has any of these symptoms check out the book heal your headaches from dr david bucholz and the website mvertigo.org tons of information I would never in a million year thought that the vertigo would be a migraine but there are also migraines called vestibular migraine hence the vestibular symptoms the neuro prescribed vitamins for migraine prevention and i am goin back in 2 weeks i will let you know
