Hypnotherapy? Has anyone tried it?

I have been having very serious intermittent vertigo and have tried everything but hypnotherapy. Has anyone tried this successfully? Or does anyone have any other suggestions?? I have tried many medications and none have worked, and am desparate to figure this out. As a side note, I have noticed that my vertigo tends to come in times of high stress, and that may be linked.

High stress makes mine worse because less of my brain is on balance and more on troubles. That makes professionals call it somatisizing and jailed me on felony charges. That and denying care of any type has not relieved the number or degree of non-stress attacks. Mine started after a car accident and concussion. It is much better and two drugs helped a bit, but side-effects too terrible. One made me psychotic and was incarcerated for that for a year. (still recovering financially)
Have you tried wrist bands on acupressure points? Ginger tea-oil if that is too weak? Is the vertigo only during times of stress or worse? We use hypnotherapy on ourselves every day. It can work well if you are a suggestible person. It can work with anyone, but harder and costlier if your mind resist and thinks it won't work. Have you ever driven somewhere and said "wow, I'm here and I don't remember the trip" ? that is self hypnosis and is likely to give quicker reaction time since the conscious mind is less engaged. Unless you go too far and . . .um . . . go to sleep or whatever? Get a free or lo cost interview to see if it reght for you.
