This all blew up yesterday. Had a CT scan and blood tests and I am back where I started, completely inflamed. I am having surgery on Monday or Tuesday. I feel glad that this is going to be solved - finally. I am on day two of IV antibiotics again. The doctor did not even let me go home, he is afraid that I may perforate. I am glad I went to that follow up. I took a turn for the worst on Wednesday night.

" Folks, I am sugery free again!!! I was minutes away, already prepped, versed given, and the surgeon said that he wants to send me to the major hospital in our state to get help. I have officially baffed them here in my town.

He said that he was about to take out my right side, yet the infection was on my left side now. He said that if an entire colon of a 36 year old has to come out, he wants a doc at that major hospital to pull the trigger. He wants to find out why this is happening, and if there is anything else that can be done, before surgery that extracts the entire colon.

Help, 4Strikes, anyone? What else can be done. I know that when these antibiotics wear off (two weeks is my pattern) it will be back. I am really, really tired of being sick. Although, I am thankful he wants to send me to the number one doc in the state for this... I am somewhat baffled myself.

Please respond if you know anything to turn to next. Thanks again for all the prayers and positive thoughts. "
