Advice:
narrow colon

Hello, I recently had a Lap Sigmoid Colectemy (9/22/09) Since the surgery I have had blood in my stool. Today (10/26/09) I had a colonoscopy and the doctor said he could not get past a certain part of the colon. He was not able to see where the bleeding was occuring due to a narrow section of the colon. I now have to have some tests done to see why. Has anyone ever run into this problem? The doctor seems to think it's from the surgery and part of the colon might be extremely narrow. Would this mean another surgery to repair?
Please advise.
Thank you
Pam
